These tools are awesome. I wouldnt side another house without these.
These brackets can hold a 12' sheet with no problems. They are fast and easy to use, and you dont need 3 guys to do the work.
I just finished installing hardiplank siding and I dont know what I would've done without these. We still checked occationally to make sure we were still level and sure enough, gnats on.
Nothing better than having the right tool for the job. I have snapped chalk lines and used story boards before, and it is time consuming and we still ended up have issues with keeping the reveal correct.
Just get your first board in level and go to town.

With or without addtional help. I recomend them to anyone siding with fiber cement siding. These things really work great. I am able to install all the siding on a house by myself.

The only done size if there is one is it wont do 12" siding. I was very pleased. This was not a problem for me since I seldom do 12" siding. this is a must for anyone who does cement siding. By yourself or with a helper this item keeps you hands free to pick up a nail gun or a level.
